I am a 28 year old professional triathlete residing in Salo, Finland with my wife and two daughters.  I come originally from the US (Vermont) but have been living abroad for most of the last 10 years

My sport background comes from four years racing on the US national cycling team. After realizing a career in cycling was not what I wanted, I got into triathlon just for fun. Pretty quickly I found it was even better suited to me than cycling and now I am racing at the professional level.

The past few years I have split my energy between my family life, work responsibilities and sport.  In 2012 I am fully committing to racing triathlon professionally to reach my full potential.  Exactly how far I will go is impossible to say but either way I am excited to have the opportunity to pursue this path.
